Improve your mental health well-being.
Impact Mental Health Therapy, LLC exists to provide you a welcoming, transparent and confidential environment of high-quality, competent therapeutic counseling. My mission is your improved mental health well-being and a therapeutic partnership for life's ambiguous journey.
Providing a proactive partnership and building resiliency
I have witnessed many people who believe that mental health therapy is only for those with a major crisis in their life or a current mental health diagnosis. Some tend to think that they can handle it on their own or “it isn’t that bad”. Unfortunately, due to that stigma, many people suffer alone or with the continued patterns that distress them and those around them. I am a strong advocate for overall mental health well-being and am here to let you know no matter how big or small the concern, Impact Mental Health Therapy can benefit you. Our overall mental health is just as important as our physical health. Together we can partner to navigate life’s ambiguous journey.
A personal approach
Since 2007, I have had a wonderful experience helping older children, adolescents, adults and families. The various settings where I have provided individual, family, and group mental health therapy include intensive outpatient, outpatient, and schools. I have worked in the following areas over my career: mood disorders, adolescent and adult co-occurring disorders, domestic abuse, in-home family therapy, court ordered treatment, probation, substance abuse, attachment concerns and trauma.
My current specialty areas of interest include trauma, various areas of grief and loss, depression, anxiety, mood disorders, relational dynamics, and life transitions. I utilize evidence based approaches such as trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, person-centered, relational and family systems.
These approaches lay the ground work as we tailor the sessions around your individualized wants and needs in a non-judgmental, transparent, and empathetic way. Through the therapeutic partnership, we will address your individual mental health concerns with realistic goals in the context of your life.
